This is a hard question for many young adults and teens. Most adults would answer that you should keep your innocence for as long as possible, but teenagers have the same amount of, if not more, sexual urges compared to adults. Whether to have sex is a personal decision that should be made between your partner, and it heavily depends on your circumstance. It is usually very smart to abstain from sex if you are unsure. The decision is hard and encompasses many factors you have to consider. If you do choose to have sex, make sure you trust your partner completely. You should use contraceptives and have STI/STD checks to help prevent the spread of STIs/STDs and stop unplanned pregnancies.
